We went to Alpine for lunch today to visit with Grandpa Tom, Aunt Teri and Uncle Jim again. The kids were excited to play with Skittle and the 20 questions electronic game. Uncle Jim’s just a big kid, so he got down on the floor and played cars with the kids too.
After lunch, we went out to Bonita, to my Aunt Carol and Uncle John’s house visit with them and Grandma Ruth. The kids got to swim and we all had dinner. I hadn’t seen Carol and John in years, since I’ve only made few visits out after moving to Colorado and I think we kept missing each other, so I was really glad they were available this time.
Days like these, visiting with lots of family, makes me miss living in California. I’m so glad that we decided to spend the week relaxing and spending time with family instead of trying to squeeze in lots of adventures like Disney land and Seaworld. It was fun to do all that the last time we were out, but very exhausting, and extremely time consuming. This trip has been so great, and I don’t want to go home!
