It was November 19, 2011 when we got stuck in the mountains but first we got our tree and my dad and big brother strapped the tree down to the top of the car. Once we were ready to leave we couldn’t because the chain cept popping off the tire. Eventully my dad and big brother had to go to town wich was miles. Thankfully somebody picked them up and drove them the rest of the way to town. They got supplies and started to head back to the car when they went to town they went by foot it was the same on the way up but they got a ride up the mountain to with new chains, food, and water. Eventully it was dark and we were still there but when my dad and big brother were in town they called somebody for help. Later on when it was dark help came. The people towed us out but it was not easy because we have a van that was bigger than the truck so my dad also had to gas the van while the truck gased it an then before we even knew it we were up the hill. Later we met each other at the side of the road an my big brother gave the people who helped us hugs.
