Christmas Part 1

Merry Christmas to all. Today was "Round 1" of our Christmas Celebrations. Since was sick all day yesterday, and spent it in bed, Caleb and Lily convinced Honey and Papa to keep them overnight. So Jerry and I opened our stockings and then headed to my parents, this morning. The kids had already been up for an hour or so, working on all their gifts by the time we got there. It was a nice, relaxing day that we spent just hanging out with the family. After a yummy Prime Rib lunch, we loaded the kids up along with their gifts, and headed home to see what goodies were still waiting for them under the tree. Sufficiently spoiled, Caleb and Lily headed off to bed and Jerry and I cuddled up on the couch to watch a movie. I love the simplicity of just spending time with the family and appreciating the blessing that they are on Christmas day, just the way it should be. Hopefully everyone had a wonderful and blessed day, too.
