Break's over, back to work...

Well, Christmas Break is over. I swear if flew by. They always seem like they are so long at the beginning and I look forward to all the "free" time to get a million things done, but then the next thing I know, it's over and here I am getting ready for work tomorrow morning. Bummer! I had a list of things I wanted to get done - my basement stair project, fun silhouettes of the kids, lots of pictures to hang, a book case wall unit to build and decorate, dining room painted and decorated... the list goes on, but it kinda started to get unrealistic at that point. Anyway, I had 9 days off from work and what do I have to show for it? 3 dentist appointments (why do they torture me with 4 deep cleaning appointments when they could really just do it in one?), a case of the stomach flu, 2 Christmas Celebrations, a clean room that needs to be cleaned again already, and a 5k. Jerry did work on the basement with my dad (Woohoo!) and made good progress, but I didn't do much to help with that project, so I won't take credit. Oh well, I did get to spend nearly 2 weeks with my kids and my husband watching movies, playing games, and just hanging out spending time together, and so that makes it all worth while. So what if I didn't cross anything off my to-do list. There's always the weekends.
