Day 14 - Heading Home...

Our last day in Lakeside was pretty anti-climactic. We spent the morning hours Doing laundry, Cleaning, Packing, Loading the Car, and then lots and lots of driving. We wanted to make it home for the 4th of July fireworks. Our friends have an annual BBQ and then we all walk down to the lake for the pyro-tecnics, and they were bummed because they thought we weren't going to be home until the 5th. We had decided early in our trip that we were going to cut it short by a day to get home, go to the fireworks show, and have one day home to relax and unpack before going back to work and our normal routine. So, as bummed as we were to leave our friends and family behind in Cali, it's nice to be on our way home again.
